The story started when I thought of changing my reliance broadband connection with this pathetic ABC Broadband connection. The reliance connection was a little expensive. I always wanted to go for Airtel but they didn’t have their service in the society I put up. I didn’t have much complains from my reliance connection. I don’t why I decided to move to a cheaper but waste of use internet connection a.k.a. ABC Broadband.
I opted for a 2 MBPS connection and even the technician who came to install was unable to fetch me that speed. When he set up the wiring and tested the speed it came out to be around 500 kbps and he consoled me by saying that some repair is on and I’ll get proper speed from tomorrow onwards but sadly that never happened. The connection dies every now and then and even if it is working, it supplies only 200-300 kbps of speed. I remember only a few instances where I’ve gotten a speed of above 1 MBPS.
The customer care staff will only say that it’ll be fine after sometime and the most lame suggestion is "Sir, please restart your ABC Broadband device and wait for 20-30 mins till it boots and catches signals". Simply Rubbish. None of their propositions will work. If a person comes to your house to check the connection, he’ll say that there is something wrong at server’s end and goes away. I wish I could call names to the company owner of ABC Broadband. The worst service. Believe me guys I’ve used a lot ISPs and this far ABC Broadband has been the most exasperating.
I insist not to go for ABC Broadband and save yourself from repenting afterwards.
