Beware of ABC Broadband Services. We were using ABC Broadband Internet services with the User Id: -1107754997 for last few months and were making the bill payments regularly. But when we decided to discontinue the service, we intimated the same to the customer care officials on 06.10.2013 and the customer care people promised us that they would charge us only for the days for which we have used the internet services i.e. from 25.09.2013 to 06.10.2013, since the bill cycle starts from 25th of every month.
Even after having this conversation and various conversations there after just to clarify this point with the customer care officials, we have been getting messages and calls from ABC Broadband regarding non-payment of bill payment, without providing us any explanation for our query.
And now on the top of it, we received a legal notice from ABC Broadband for the payment of full and final settlement amount, which is for the full month i.e. from 26.09.2013 to 25.10.2013. However, we used the internet services only up to 06.10.2013, so we should be liable for the payment only up to 06.10.2013 and not thereafter, since we did not use these services after that date.
Moreover, ABC Broadband technicians came to collect the internet devices on 20.10.2013. If they were going to charge us for the whole month, then they should not have collected these devices before 25.10.2013 and we should have been allowed to use the devices up to the last date of the billing cycle which is 25.10.2013.
We even contacted ABC Broadband customer care service after receiving the legal notice and we were promised to receive a call from senior ABC Broadband person to discuss and clarify the case. However we did not receive any call from ABC Broadband. It is really surprising and shocking to see such an unprofessional behavior from ABC Broadband officials.
