Never ever go for a ABC Broadband connection. The worst I have ever seen. They loot u big time. I have had a very bad experience with them. First of all the customer service representatives cannot speak English and they update nonsense on the official ABC Broadband site. They miss spelt my email id as romifrances@yahoo.com instead of romyfrancis@yahoo.com. They have been sending details to that id even after requesting them to change it.
When I disconnected my connection in July the customer service and engineer who came to collect my modem told me not to make the full n final payment now since it would be adjusted in my final bill. When I called customer service after a week they told me it has been mailed and I am late to make the payment. I asked them to mention the email id they sent the bill on and it was romifrances@yahoo.com which is wrong. Then I asked them what is the amount I need to pay after deducting the late payment for which they told me 206 which I paid.
Since then I have been getting calls for a payment of 200 which is the late fees of 100 plus another 100 more dont know why. Today I received a call from an advocate from Delhi saying I have to make that payment and sms the details to him else he will take legal action against me. He spoke very rudely and behaved very strangely.
I called up customer service and spoke to a girl who was equally rude and was not ready to help at all. She kept on saying give me proof that somebody told me to pay 206. If u cant then u have to pay the balance. I was so very disappointed with their behavior that I have decided that I will let everyone know how they function.
