Ofcourse ABC Broadband wants to capture broadband market by luring with tempting attactive tariff plans. The real problem is with there technology which needs synchronization to the access point for good speed.
Which would mean the access point should be nearest to the wireless gateway the router. But it is only feasible if 10 customer in that building has opted for ABC Broadband thats what they say
But what in name of god would that be! I mean my router has all green signal not even flickering which according to ABC Broadband means I am getting quality speed and data transfer rate! Bullshit nothing like that people. Here is the funniest part when I called up ABC Broadband Customer Care to check my signal strength they said they cannot find my modem in there list. they cannot get my modem details hence they say your modem is turned off please restart your modem. After restarting the modem they say the same message. The connection might be pinging well but with hiccups and says modem is turned off .
1) Despite of even having stable (green steady battii which means good signal and transfer rate) signal shows no sign in speed improvement. The pinging delay is greater. 4 days in a week you can expect ABC Broadband wirbro to perform very miserable.
2) They lack experienced staff even for crimping cat 5 cables, The Rj connectors don’t have good hold over the cable (bad crimping). Hence network disruption occurs when the cable faces slight disturbance. Faltu installation.
3) I cannot login to my YAHOO MESSENGER most of the time due to low speed. I cannot login to my YAHOO WEB Account . I cannot access My Rediff account. means speed is in 2 0r 3 kbps . Yahoo messenger says your network is either slow or facing problem.
4) The downtime is sometimes 2 days! Low on customer support (practical) high on bol bacchan(lipservice responses).
Inference: ABC Broadband is not at all worth for the money. Cause they have no solution.
My advice to all people who are in search for perfect broad band. ABC Broadband nears to dial-up whatever but not ABC Broadband. If you have majority of people in your building so that the access point can be positioned nearer, only then you may opt else avoid it at all cost.
