I love reading books .. any kind ... I read them all.... and of the many books I have read till now... this is one book I wished I didnt read at all! I am typing very slowly, trying very hard not to use any offensive words, but excuse me if some words pop in here or there....
Talk about fantacies... this book has a story line peppered with technological terms to be only understood by a geo-physicist or some ’’rain man’’. Any ways the story is too far fetched and it is descirbed in a way that you would keep on contradicting in your head. The author tries to create an Utopia of sorts ... but he fails to do so convincingly. I have to admit that he has good dreaming qualities. Some thing of that sort would only come up in dreams you dream in a deep slumber. One thing I cannot understand is the author’s fixation with SEX. I am deeply frustrated by this book.
One aspect of the book where he could have made up more than he had lost was the developement in feeling of love for the ’’INTERTERRA’’ in the heart of the female lead. I forgot her name in the book. ( I didnt feel it worthy to remember her name.) It was way too awkwardly developed and spontaneous. But I thank god, as if that was done, it would have added more pages on the book! I read the book and it was very predictable to the end!!!! Now my advice to you folks who want to read this book .... DON’T!!! And I ask to god, when can we again have master story tellers like Dickens and company ... I think its high time we had some one like those!!!
