Mind Numbing Boring

Robin Cook has never been my fav author, but atleast his novels were enjoyable....( Recomending - Chromosone 6, Outbreak, Coma, God Player..)...BUT ABDUCTION sadly fails in that department. Robin Cook is well known for his medical thrillers and after reading this book I would seriously request him not to deviate from the genre that has made him famous!!!

Abduction is esentially an sci-fi thriller, but though science is the basis for this book, the only thrills I got was when I finished it --- and I knew that I wouldn’t have to read any more of the torturous storyline.

The book has some semblance of a plot to try and explain the phenomenons of Abductions being caused by creatures living inside of the earth’s core....but it soon unravels into a bizarre tale of sex and violence, ...the story is so dissapointing that I wouldn’t recommend this book to even my worst enemy!!!

The final So called Twist in the tale is so unbelievable..that all I could do after I read the last word ..is start laughing at the thought that the author was actually paid for writing this!!! The book has some interesting theories, but RC doesn’t event try to explain or unravel them...humans/aliens all get caught in a story that doesn’t offer anything to anyone..esp to the person reading it.
