I have been in Pune since February, 2005; and one of the first movies I went to see was in E-Square. This was mainly because it was situated near my place of stay (Aundh). Prior to this I was in Kolkata and had experience of visiting INOX over there quite a number of times...
Now I must say that compared to INOX ( I had eventually visited INOX in Pune also) E-Square is not just upto the mark. For one thing, the halls are smaller, and the seats are also not good. Maybe the ticket prices are less, but I don’t bother much about paying 10 or 20 bucks more more a more pleasurable viewing experience. Also the only decent sized hall is the Theatre No. 5.
There is too little leg space, and only the last row seats are push-back seats. Even if you are paying the same amount, you have to settle for less comfort if you do not get those seats. And, the hand-rests also do suffer from lack of maintenance...
And, last but not the least, the parking is quite inadequate and to sum it up, horrible.
Apart, form E-Square being close to my place and the fact that they provide online booking of tickets, I couldn’t find much other plus points... INOX or even Gold Adlabs is much better...
