Multiplexes generally advertise their ambience and feel good factor as thier +points over the cheaper single screen theaters. The aim is to provide a good ambience that attracts people to spend their time(and money) there. Ofcourse the advantage of more shows compared to a single screen is also there.Esquare is one among the multiplexes in pune, with 5(?) screens.
I have been working in pune for the last 3 months and among the first places I visited was E2. It was ’’war of the worlds’’, not a very good movie if I remember correctly. unf I got seats in the second row and had to watch the movie in an odd perspective. The screen was also a bit grainy sitting that near to it. Sound was ok, I dont think its DTS or dolby cert.
The general ambience and environment is good though outside, its a huge mess with road construction and traffic jams. The crowd is mostly young as expected in pune.
I read in another revu abt the ’’classy rest’’ inside e2. Sorry mate, I beg to differ. the styling might be all swanky stuff, but the food was pathetic! The coffe counter is pretty good though esp the irish coffe.
I know this feels more like an analysis than a review, I am going to edit this when I get some free time.
