I usually don’t write negative reviews about Bollywood actors/actresses but this one is a must. Abhishek Bachchan, the son of Amitabh and Jaya Bhaduri, just doesn’t know how to act or dance. The saying "the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree" just doesn’t apply here. While his parents were great with their acting abilities as well as dancing skills, Abhishek falls short.
His dancing just isn’t natural and tends to be more on the stiff side. He can not hold a romantic role if his life depended on it. He just comes across as rather awkward and not someone you take seriously. I must admit he does well in more serious roles like "Refugee, " "Guru, " and "Yuva." He was okay in "Dhoom" since he played a side role of the cop.
He only seems to be in Bollywood because of his famous connections. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have a chance. It’s just a shame that he’s given an opportunity to become a star but there are so many others that would die to just been given a "spot in the limelight." Many talented people are out there but just don’t have the right connections or luck.
