I do not have an ABN AMRO card myself because mine was rejected inspite of the fact that I have three other credit cards.
I am writing about the travails of my colleague who suffers from having had the audacity to take an ABN AMRO card.
He complains that the bank never ever sends the statements on time inspite of his living in a very accessible place. He says that the call centre people are very rude when he does not pay on time because he never gets the statement on time. they phone him all the time for payments and use intimidatory language.
Moreover they do not have any drop boxes in Lucknow but for two and that too almost outside the city .
They do not have any promotional schemes apart fromt he petrol pumps and they do not provide co-branded cards.
He says he will get the card cancelled very soon.
