I have dealt with many banks, and ABN Amro is undoubtly the worst.
I believe that its part of the training to their staff to be rude and inditimating. Everything from trying getting the statement, and trying to revert the plethora of Miscellaneous charges they keep putting into statements is extremely difficult. They operate on principle that getting justice in India requires effort, and most people wont go far trying to get back 100 odd rupees. So if one is persistent, they will give back you wrongly charged money, but I wonder how many people will spend days trying to get small service charges which they keep levying.
I invite readers to correct me here, but I believe that they acquire most customers by approaching big corporates, and offering their services to all employees.
Better to go for another card. Any other card is better than ABN Amro.
