My horror started with my debit card being stuck into the ATM. I hadnt used my debit card for a while and forgot my password. I tried some combinations and the card got stuck into the ATM. Calling up the bank, they said, its their process and they asked me request a new card. I did so promptly.
Its been more than 10 days since I made that request and I am without a debit card and no access to my own money. yesterday, I called up to find out whats happening. The Customer Care professional named Salaman. I had a tough time with this guy. **My address is not correct was the answer. I have been in chennai for the last 8 months and I haveen receiving most communications. I was wondering how in this case the address wasnt correct ? Can somebody explain ?
*He offered to take a request for address change. I requested him infact pleaded with him to get the courier people talk to me over my mobile. I dont know why these idiots collected my mobile number. After a 15 minute marathon discussion I was thinking that I will get my card delivered and my cash problems will end.
I havent received my card yet. I called up to get a "Cash Delivery" done. The Customer Dare prfessional shut the phone down telling, there is an address change request so cash cant be delivered. If I were to see her, I would slap her in the face as she slapped the phone on me. I have dirty words. Only to maintain deceny I am stopping from using it.
I moved almost all my cash to CITIBANK.
I am pretty sure that this is a lousy bank from my past and current experiences. I will close this account if not for it being my salary account.
Please be cautious while banking with this "Zero Courtesy" bank.
