Consistency in service maintained by ABN globally

For last 3 months I was trying for getting an ABN Amro credit card. I was promised by Mr. amit sharma & Ms. Hazel Dsouza of ABN amro Dubai branch that they will first open a priviledge account for me(whatever it means) & then issue me a credit card. I insisted that I will deposit some money in these accounts only after I get my credit card. They were prompt in opening for me bank accounts.(Only 5 phone calls, two of them rude cals, four emails & threat to complai n were required). once again on asking what about credit card- there is dead silence from both of them. After reading reviews by mouthshut members- I feel I am lucky not having relationship with ABN. I am sure all members will agree with me that ABN maintains their pathetic  service standards globally.


I pity Barclays & Royal Bank of Scotland. They dont know what they are upto.
