I had purchased Acer Aspire 4740 in January 2017 and it is merely 9 months I have been using it. I do not carry it anywhere while travelling however this Laptops battery damaged and it is not charging at all. I have to use it using the direct plugged in cable. I called their customer support but I dont know what happened, that call was routed to their International support center which handles PAN Asia customers and those guys were unable to communicate in English since their Accent was some what chines.
Finally I got in touch with Indian customer support and then they sent a technician at home since it was in on site warranty.
The battery is replaced for free however now the hard disk gone. I had to take that to Vashi Service center and replace that. Thank god it is in warranty other wise I would have to pay for both battery and Hard disk.
Value For money: Not for me at all since I had to waste my time for all this
Service and Support: Very Slow and not promosing
Satisfaction: I am not a satisfied buyer
User friendly: Yes, the device is all good to handle
