when I came to job, it was my dream to give my younger bro a laptop.
as he studies in National Law college, bhopal which is a Wi Fi campus and a laptop adds to the Oomph factor as well as to academic convenience.
so I went on for hunt for a 40+ GB laptop With DVD R+ drive.
here plus denoted my greed for better.
it was 24 December 2005.
in bangalore, at MG road, we went on hunt for intel centrino processor..
compaq screen is too small (12’’) not ideal for a student,
HP & IBM were costly feature wise.
suddenly I saw this model
DVD writer !!!
60 GB !!!
XVGA TFT-- and its a boon coz the brightness is comparable to ordinary picture tube bulky monitors and u can see it from many angles....
the color and sharpness is superb...
seeing all this, and the price 40k..
and little haggling is always beneficial..
i took one usb mouse and one usb keyboard for free from Dealer!!!
my brother is happy and satisfied with it.
no unnesscessary things...
just value for money...
u can sought for inbuilt bluetooth, cardreader, more Ram but not ready to pay more.. how come..
ya one thing that worries me and I havent faced yet is.
their Servicing..
see these things r outsourced. and what we can do is to hope for the good..
definetely a product of this price sd be given importance if it comes to servicing due to some fault...
hope Acer guys will be listening..
