Acer’s E series has always inspiring us either for base models or high end product. They always says that E series are better Everyday computing; but is it really so? Lets Talk about it:
Right now I am using E15 mid range model. The specifications are pretty much good with Intel i3 Processor 1.7 Ghz. Generally, all softwares requires more than 1 Ghz; So it could be considered for better work but not for Gaming laptop. It has 4 GB of Ram (DDR3) but runs well on Windows 8. GPU are not installed in it but we can install upto 1.5 Gb . The Display quality is good but not best. Resolution is 1366 x 768 with HD display; acer says its their Comfyview.
The physical design is good. It is not thin but also not too heavy only 2.4 kg. One can easily carry around places. Their are several useful ports with a VGA connector, an ethernet port, HDMI port, 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0, DVD-RW Drive, an Card Reader and a 3.5 mm Headphone jack. So, from my point of view its best. Talking about its keyboard; it is not that good, the spacing between buttons are not well.The accessories buttons are helpful. Mouse pad performs well in every software. The click on mousepad is very satisfying with gestures too. Speakers need to be improvised a lot more; u can barely hear sound from it at around some distance; so headphone is advisable and it is best to use headphone in it. The screen bezels need to be decreased as it occupy many spaces on the screen. Camera is good for video calling purposes . The battery life is only upto 7-8 hours only. It has non removable battery. The best part of this laptop is that it doesn’t get heated; I have continuously used it for around 6 hours and in that period it didn’t heated much. Acer’s inbuilt software are not that in use . It comes with inbuilt Microsoft Office, Cyberlink Photoshop and Movie Editor and other user friendly softwares. All Datas are secured and the laptop too has high security with setup. This Acer aspire E15 is useful for accounting and daily work, Best for students and Entertainment Purposes. It is not advisable for Heavy works like CAD and High Rated Gaming Purposes. This laptop costs around ?35000. And its valuable for that much money. And it is recommed for students for their best performance on this laptop.
