Hello Folks, I purchased Acer E5 571 last month for multiple uses such as Coding, Internet surfing etc. Till now, it has been doing well in terms of user friendliness and battery back up.
I have only one issue which is related to the acer india management regarding the policies on the accidental damage. My laptops Corner got damaged accidentally before one week, subsequently I talked to Acer customer care executive, who ensured me that the damaged parts will be repaired or replace. When I visited the Acer service center, the respondent initially denied completely to repair/replace it, however after demanding a written cause of the denial they raised the ticket regarding the issue, which subsequently got disapproved from the next team.
This is noteworthy here, that at the point of purchasing the laptop the authorized seller of Acer briefed me about the product and told me that in the first year any type of physical damage will be covered under Acer accidental damage policy and it will be repaired or replace. Even, it comes under the possible scope of coverage category as written in Acer risk coverage certificate, rendered to me at the time of extending the warranty period.
What should I do now? I have sent an email to the Acer as well.
