I’m using Acer aspire timeline 5830TG laptop for 6 years. My friend bought this laptop from the United States. This is the first ultra-slim laptop introduced in the market. I got it with 3gb ram, 500gb hard disk, 15.6-inch display, 1gb Nvidia graphics, 6cell battery and genuine windows os. Most highlighting part of this laptop is the battery backup. During initial days I got up to 7 hours battery backup which was mindblowing performance. Usually, all laptops which were used by my friends and family members give only 2-3 hours backup. I’m really surprised to see its battery performance. On extended gaming, I got 4 hours backup. Even if the ram is only 3gb the performance of the laptop is really good. The weight of the laptop is only 1.5 kgs.So it is very easy to carry the laptop. I carry it like a notebook in hand. But I was very disappointed with its build quality. Within 2 months the front bezel of the laptop was broken. After replacing the bezel I started using the laptop very carefully. But after 6 months again the bezel was broken. Again replaced it. But after 9 months again the same problem. Visited many Acer service centers but they replied that the model got discontinued so impossible to find a bezel. I stuck it with a small piece of tape and using it now. Otherwise, there are no performance issues. A very good laptop but poor build quality
