This a review of 4710z acer laptop. The newer version they have introduced with dual core T2130 processor. From the day I have bought this laptop, as from the ads LIFE IS BUSY AND ACER MAKES ME BUSY. These are the things that make me busy with this laptop.
1.Whenever I go to the webpage to download the drivers, the webpage says service not found.
The driver cd they have given is outdated and when I load the driver or the wireless lan from the cd, the wireless lan never works.
The worst problem was that, I had bought the laptop and within few days I got a small pixel dot on my screen which is blue in colour. I called up the customer service and SUPRISE.OUR SERVICE IS ONLY TILL 8PM. I called them up next morning and told about the dot on my LCD screen and they said, since its a single small dot on the screen, they cannot change the screen for me. They said its written in the warranty policy that if there are more than 4 pixel dots on your screen they will change it for . Else they can’t.
So one great advice.
Check the warranty policy before buyin a laptop. I checked the laptop policy and it was written on acer warranty policy more than 4 pixels I can claim a warranty.
Since the price is very less.then see the stuff. The plastica they use is so cheap in these laptop. The portion of the fan and the hard disk and the ram on the lower side, are so cheap that they go inside when pressed.
