Over 500 allottees in the Rising City Projectare suffering untold miseries for over 14 years. For the last 7 years we have been begging for justice in front of Honourable MahaRERA. We have gone from Hon. RERA to Hon. REAT, back to Hon. RERA and then Hon. REAT again and finally we are back at Hon. RERA in these seven years.
Yet, there is no significant improvement in the situation and the Rising city (RC) management continues to mislead and inflict financial and mental agony to the hapless allottees.Even now the the Rising city is misleading and confusing at best.
At the same time, the allottees are running from pillar to post to get their flats delivered. Most of the allottees have turned senior and super senior citizens after booking flats in this project. Rare Townships Pvt Ltd promoter of Rising cityis a Private Limited Company and can last perpetually and can fight any/ all legal forums with its mighty legal team and finance but hapless allottees waiting for possession of their flats are getting older and have no might of finance and legal support to fight with RC, some of the allottees are having apprehension that RC’s modality is booking the flats (without material approvals in place) and collecting 20% to 70% money from the allottees and delaying the project for more than a decade so that some of the allottees with mental agony and financial stress will die or will look for alternatives out of frustration and go for legal course against RC, which will be dragged by RC in every forum to frustrate the allottees and ultimately RC enjoys allottees hard earned money since last 14 years. More than 135 complains are lodged with MahRERA against RC for the same project. In addition there are number of complains lodged in various Consumer Forum against the RC for this Project.
