Friends this is my experience with ACT Fiber, Hyderabad . I was their customer since 2 years, since it was Beam Telecom but then things changed drastically after its taken over by ACT Fiber net .
I was promised a connection speed of 40mbps which was earlier 20mbps . Forget about 40 mbps I never ever got 20 mbps speed as promised by Act Fiber, Hyderabad . I also listed some speed test reports. Disconnections are very frequent, at times even weeks. The FUP manipulation so that customers will reset them with additional money is yet an other trick by them, I load a youtube video of 10 mins 480p and suddenly FUP gets incremented by 4 to 5 gb . I used wireshark and other network monitoring tools to see how unethical they are and results were also in favor of that . Their Customer care actually has to be renamed to customer don’t care . They dont care about customers but care for their money!
The speed when tested on you own servers: 0.07 mbps
I’ve never seen such horrible speeds or unreliable connections every before .
(Just look at their Advts where they promise uninterrupted connections and highest speeds)

Is this why Act Fiber charges me 1195 a month? . I would rather use my BSNL gprs which will help my pages load much more faster at fraction of the cost .
