Worst support & no logic in the switch back plan

My broadband connection was Act abundant 15 Mbps 50gb plan.Connection speed was good but there were lot of disconnections. I was compromising a lot on speed. Prior to this plan I had 40 gb plan but as my usage is heavy, 2 months back I changed the plan to 50 Gb. They immediately changed the plan over the phone itself and accounted the 10 Gb in plan usage. I was happy at that time with the customer support.


Now I plan to move to 60Gb. They said I cannot do that in between but only at the beginning of a new month. And If I need extra Gb I need to pay half the monthly amount for one day( as there is only one more day only left in this month)Whole story short. Why are they asking Rs 600 for one day data? Why can’t they pro rate this? I guess with rules and regulations Act is going to loose their customers and I feel Airtel is far better with less speed and more data usage and is consistent. I rarely have disconnections in airtel. But Act disconnects often, every day atleast 5-10 times. I agree that we dont use the internet all the time but when I work from home I use remote machine connection, if there us even a single drop in the connection my day’s work will be lost . I was compromising on speed and connection issues but act enforcing rules and charging heavy for additional usage request is too much. I hate Act to the core now. I think it’s time for me to think of a different provider.
