ACT broadband is one of the ISPs available in the market today. I stay in Koramangala and I must say that the net connectivity is superb. You can have speed of 15 to 20 Mbps speed of internet at any given point of time.
Previously I was using Airtel. No offense to the service provider, but the speed and the price point are pretty expensive when compared to ACT.
Disadvantages:
Since ACT uses cable wires for major connectivity, sometimes the wire gets disconnected and the time taken to resolve the issue is almost 1-2 working days depending on the damage to the cable. Customer service is also not proactive in taking the feedback and resolving the issue on time.
Since they are taking baby steps in correcting their service levels in terms of customer response time, they will surely have come a long way to give reliable and lighting speed internet at reasonable cost. (market standards).
Even recently when there was a maintenance that was going around at Koramangala, ACT broadband team had informed the customer in advance of the maintenance and the service being not upto the promise. That’s an excellent way of communicating with the customer about the situation.
