Good while it lasted

I was a happy user of ACT . Always stuck to their promised speeds . No issues for more than 1 year . Unfortunately after the recent Vardah cyclone, their services have taken a hit. The service of any company is to a  great extent dependent on the ability to bounce back in the case of problems. I am sorry to say ACT is not quite professional in dealing with such issues. While they address 1 to one issues, when a mass failure occurs. They do not have infrastructure like Airtel or BSNL who can restore the services within a couple of days(Lack of Disaster recovery Plan) . Just as mentioned below, I am in the heart of chennai city and even after 10+ days, it is uncertain . The way they have managed this makes me bring down their high rating in my mind. They had just let the phone off the hook like some govt gas agency!.( As it was always busy) . Even when I occassionally got the line they gave false promises of restoring in 24 to 28 hours. Now for the past 1 week, this period always extends by 3 days whenever you call. I have lost hope and plan to shift to Airtel or Hathway.
