No reliability on the connection and worst service

Hi,


I’m going to share one of the worst experience I ever had with ACT internet service provider. I’m staying in TC Palya(Bangalore) and I’m a 3 months old customer of ACT as of 17/06/2014. Due to infeasibility of other ISPs I had to choose ACT service provider though all my friends advised not to go for this. Below are my observation about this service provider so far:




  1. As soon as the complaint is logged in their system, they will purposely set the case to "closed" status within 1~2 days without having worked on the complaint. Therefore if I forgot to reopen my case I’m screwed up again. They always pay attention to the "active customers" who reopens the cases, they might think most of the customers are raising it for time pass.




  2. It does not matter how so big or how so small my complaint was, it took minimum 10 days to address them. the biggest challenge I’m having is to call the customer care everyday and remind them, else you will be given one more week to address your complaints.




  3. Field engineers who come will always propose a work around to the complaints and never look for the cause of the problem, hence I always end up raising the new tickets but problem remains same.




  4. Most interesting part of customer care service: you can reach them at day time but not at night time, my calls are kept on "awaiting the customer care executive" for longer hours than day time.




  5. Regardless of all the above complaints, the internet speed is really good. If no service interruption to your connection, then you are one of the lucky person on this earth. If something goes wrong and you need their attention then you will be screwed up to the high.






Conclusion: Those who use this internet connection is redundancy source they can go for ACT, but for those this is primary connection, its better to look for other ISPs, because of the delay in service. Over all I would say ACT is total unprofessional ISP who does not know how to treat customer.
