Recently I took a broadband connection from ACT fiber, they promised 30 Mbps speed, but real scenario its delivering 9 Mbs something. When I complained about the speed support team advised me to change the server name(ACT-Hyderabad) on Ookla -speed.net.
Then it started showing speed as 30 Mbps
This, according to me is a massive design flaw since Im primarily concerned about speeds I get while accessing the real Internet and not some ISPs fake server!
If I use fast.com(by Netflix) or speed test by google still shows 9Mbps and server located at a different city.
