Worst and pathetic service by with ACT BroadBand

I am posting this matter to warn / aware those persons who are thinking of ACT Broadband internet service. they are big type fraud who cheat their customers always.


My ACT Broadband User Name  : 10592166


I am staying in MahadevPura (K.G.F. Munireddy Layout) BANGALORE and applied for ACT Broadband service on 11-JUNE ( Subscriber Acquisition Form No : 57495).  [ 649 Rs. FREEDOM PLAN ]


Well I was in impression that I will get connection in 6-7 working days as what ACT agent promised but as expected ACT didn’t respond on my request and after several follow-ups by phone calls with ACT customer care for 18 Days, ACT guys turned up and did installation & wiring things on 28-JUNE-2013. means it took 17 days to do installation from ACT side. well somehow I digested this delay and thought at least now I will get good service but it was a dream.


on 28-JUNE, once installation happened, their NETWORK engineer (named Harisha) came to my  house and connected ACT LAN wire to my laptop and interacted with their back-end team to get login ID & password for account activation. once I put login details on ACT PORTAL, I should able to connect internet however it was like already desnity written by god that I will not get internet service by ACT in any condition, and same happned, as network engineer tried to enter login & password on ACT PORTAL and pressed Login button, it displayed "This Page can not be displayed"... and at same moment their local server (which he claimed near MAPLE SCHOOL in B.Narayanpura area) went down so my connection activation didn’t happen on 28-June. However network person told that it should be resolved by tomorrow (29-June). So with disappointent, I accepted that and network person left from my house.


now same story happnened on 29-June, I didn’t get any update from ACT side on my activation and I made several phone calls to their customer care & network person ..but no luck..and I repeated same things on 30 June as well. finally I got call from their network person on 30-JUNE (after 2 days) around 7 PM that I should able to login and access internet now. so finally I got happy after hearing this and when I checked at that time, it was working fine and internet started working at 7PM. however it was my bad luck that around 9:30PM on same day, internet connection went down again. I was totally disappointed at that time but still I thought it should be resolved in 1-2 hours or max by tomorrow (1-July) morning. however it was my wrong perception on ACT service capability. I logged complaint for this issue (Complaint No: 1023530) on 30-JUNE and they told it will be resolved very soon.


However, as usual whatever I had already experienced with ACT service, no progress happened on my complaint on 1-July. then on 2’nd July , i made at least 4-5 calls to ACT customer care and asked for status on my complaint, but they are also very smart and always ready with stereo type answer, "Sir, we are working on your request, we will escalate this matter to concern authority and ask network team to update you within 30 minutes...." however to be very honest, no one contacted me from ACT side and I was like a fool who used to call ACT CC in morning , Noon, Evening and Late evening to check status, but every time they had same answer. so now 2-July passed and 3July passed in same manner. now 2 days over , I made more than 10 calls to CC, but no result and no update. finally today I lost my patience and I blasted on customer care person for fooling me always and not able to provide exact reason and estimated time to fix. somehow I talked to Shyam (supervisor, customer care team) and at least that guy said I will make sure that you will get some update in 3o minutes. finally he called back after 1 hour and told me that "sir you request is in progress, team is working on fixing Cable cut issue" and he has promised me that it will be resolved tomorrow (5-July) which I honest say, it will not happen at all by seeing their past service experience and quality.


One more important point, since they spread their fiber cable from one building to another building like local cable TV wala does with cable tv wire, in same way they are spreading their network by one building to another building and due to this poor way of providing connection, most of the times ACT face problem of fiber cut or some other fiber cable issues very frequently and ultimately their customers like me suffers badly.


So overall, I am totally frustrated, disappointed with ACT service and regretting that why did I choose their service for internet, since they have taken 1 month advance rent & 500 Rs as installation charge, so I feel like trapped in ACT net. and on top of that they have sent me BILL for JUNE Month in which my connection got activated for 2 hour only. it clearly shows their insensibility, poor infrastructure, pathetic support services towards their customers.


So Guys at least in B.NarayanPura , Mahadevpura area, dont think for ACT service at all or be ready to get frustated with their services.
