I have been using this internet service provider Act Broadband from 3 years and I am very happy about it. I have took 6 months plans of 2mbps which is basic plan at the first time and they provided me with free connection charges.
Speed of Isp Connection:
The speed of Isp 2 mbps is quite enough for my usage at that time and still using with the same plan without any upgradation. The speed they promised to provide is really good and now I have a need of using internet with more speed ( looking forward to upgrade 4mbps+ ). They charge 470/- Rs around for 2mbps which I pay every month. They recently provided me with an offer to pay six months bill at a time and they will upgrade by plan or they will give extra 2 months extended i.e 8 months with 6 months pay at a time. As I am in lack of money , I will accept that offer in coming couple of months from now .
Connection Realibility:
I have faced some connectivity problems in these 3 years . At some point there is disconnection of some hours continously for some days, dont know the problem they faced with their main server , they sent me messaging like Sorry for inconvinence we are busy solving your issue and will get back to you within few hours mentioning specific time. Ofcourse it feels good when they acknowledge regretting for the problem caused.But that time for some days I felt bad about that but never faced those issues again. Its all happened six months before from now. I can understand the issues might occur sometimes as there will be a big network they have to manage can cause disconnection issue due to stroms etc. Heard recently they are making strong connections within underground. Might cause no problems like in coming future.
Service and Support:
You know they surely solve your issue within less than 24 hrs after you make a complaint.They raise ticket complaint and make their network team contact you at home and solves your issue. If you are unable to pay bill online , with your request they will collect bill at your home charging 20/- Rs extra as service charge ( but dont know the agent never collected that extra money from me) . Recently you came up with an android app which is not their before and using it we can pay bill very easily as it is providing some smooth interface, comparing to normal payment method it helps us much . And also provide you an option to pay with mobile wallet.You can instantly raise you complaint using the app. The thing I dont like about Act Fibrenet is their customer support system. Their is no toll free number and charge you even when phone not connected put you on hold to connect. And the executive sounds not much professional in receiving customers.Otherwise it is very good.
