I am ACT fibernet customer from 1 year and was happy with their services. I applied for other connection in JP Nagar Bangalore and they collected all documents and cheque - For 6 months in advance and promised free installation and router as we are paying advance 6 months rental . Installation was promised in 3 days.
I get series of calls from many people for verification, customer care asking details again and again
One guy says we cannot give router and installation free, that is not for basic plan - OK
No calls or updates for next 3-4 days while am waiting for installation
Finally, some girl from customer care calls and says give your bank details - we will refund money - WHAT?
I am from finance I dont know why they did not inform you - but some technical problem - connection cannot be given - She was talking in tone as if she was doing a favour on me - Is that how you talk to customer taking my own money?
I called customer care expecting they would say Sorry xyz problem -And found other guy with same attitude - Connection cannot be given, refund will be processed refund will be processed refund will processed for any question asked. I am not worried about refund, obviously it ls my money and you have to refund if you not giving connection. Its the way you interact with customer / existing customer - I expect you to call and inform customer regarding the status and simple apology for wasting my time and yours - isnt that valid?
