Me and my husband were trying for a baby since 2 yrs, which resulted in NOTHING. We went to a local doctor who suggested SEMEN Analysis for my husband. The report was depressing. Sperm count was very low (12 mil), morphology was poor and motility was also very bad with PUS cells, total 99% defect. So it was impossible to conceive naturally. We went to Marvel Hospital, Dr. Mamtha said Semen is infected so she prescribed medicines for 1 Month to remove infection.
After medication, result was pathetic count went less than 1 mil/ml. Then we went to Ankur in Rajajinagar. They did scan and said my hubby’s vein is dilated so the sperms are not coming out, for surgery also he denied. Doctor with Singapore study gave medicines for 20 days which included steroids and heavy doses medicines. Unfortunately that couldn’t increase the count more than 15. When the medicines stopped count came down to 4 mil/ml. Ultimately he suggested IVF.
IN all these tensions my periods got irregular after scan doctor said I have got PCOD. Very depressing we came out crying and started adding money for IVF.
