This is a good old South Indian Restaurant situated at Vile Parle(East) Nehru Road near Mumbai Domestic Airport. Quick service and friendly staff is specialty of this restaurant. It is good restaurant for light snacks, thali(rice-plate), punjabi items. Masala Dosa costs, say about Rs. 30/- and Punjabi Thali(comparatively new item) costs Rs. 48/-.
Middle class person like me can visit here frequently. Prices are stable/reasonable from last 2 decades. Though interior decoration is very simple, it has its own beauty. This is perfect restaurant for the people who prefer simple but testy food. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. this restaurant is buzzing with people. Many people like me are old frequent customers. Now you can rarely find simple restaurants like "Adar" in Mumbai. This is the era of McDonald’s. But restaurants like "Adar" are still working good due to frequent local visitors.
Many restaurants are opening in nearby vicinity. From the age of 8-10 I am viewing this restaurant. Therefore, some places are attached directly with your good old memories. Picture of your home-town will not become complete without some places. This restaurant is one of the places for completing my home-town picture.
