I bought Adidas 24 Hour Control Absorbent-Deo in "Fitness Fresh" because Adidas has brand appeal and because I have been pleased with their deodorants in the past. This item also happened to be "buy one get one free", which was my main motivator. When I saw that the label said "aluminum free" I was a little concerned. Anytime a new technology is introduced you wonder how well it will work. Now I know that there is a reason aluminum is put in deodorant. My first day wearing this was not even a day where I was particularly active. I went to work where I sit at a desk all day. I didn’t go to the gym and I didn’t exercise heavily. So this deodorant should have no problem keeping up with me. I noticed a horrible body odor smell soon after arriving at work. When I discovered it was me, I was horrified. I’ve never smelled like this even when using the cheapest deodorants on the shelf! I thought maybe it was a fluke and tried it again on a Saturday when I wasn’t planning on leaving the house. Sure enough, and hour or two later, I was smelling again. I have never had body odor issues, so obviously there is a problem with this deodorant. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I certainly wouldn’t wear this to the gym...unless of course you want to clear the place out. At least you wouldn’t have to wait in line for the treadmill.
