I bought Adidas Albis 1.0 for Rs. 2600 from a factory outlet. My purpose was to use them for all kinds of things such as sport, running, cricket and trekking. So, with new shoes I went to Kanatal – a hill station near Dehradun. I wore them during walking uphill and when involved into trekking the shoes didn’t carry the expectations as they ought to be. The path was wet so the shoes became bedraggled and water seeped in and made my movements heavy and sluggish. After some more walk on a rocky cliff, I slipped a bit downward and realized the front of my shoes(vamp) has been torn off and my foot was hurt. Somehow, I reached the top and took the shoes off. Next day I sent the shoes for repairing and used them for jogging only. As the shoes were expensive so I didn’t want to throw them immediately. For running and jogging the shoes were fine but for rough or say tough use the shoes proved futile not up to the expectations. Adidas shoes are good for only city walk not for off city works – I strongly feel that. Since then I have not repeated that brand. Sometimes, big names cannot solve the purpose of a customer.
