Adipurush is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language epic action film directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, and Prasad Sutar under the banners of T-Series and Om Raut Productions. It is based on the Indian epic Ramayana, and stars Prabhas as Raghava ( Lord Rama) , Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh ( Ravana) , Kriti Sanon as Janaki ( Sita) , Sunny Singh as Shesh ( Lakshman) , and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman.
The film begins with Raghava, a prince of Ayodhya, being exiled to the forest along with his wife Janaki and brother Shesh. There, they are attacked by Lankesh, a powerful demon king. Raghava must use his strength and courage to defeat Lankesh and rescue Janaki.
Adipurush is a visually stunning film with some impressive action sequences. The performances from the cast are also good, with Prabhas particularly strong as Raghava. However, the film is not without its flaws. The pacing is a bit slow at times, and the story is not as engaging as it could be.
Overall, Adipurush is a decent film that is worth a watch for fans of the Ramayana or action films. However, it is not a must-see film.
