Bad Experience with new purchase of policy

Following mail was shared to Aditya Birla sun life insurance but no revert have been received till now Kindly guide how to go about. Today is 28th of April its been a Month and still haven’t received my policy for the same I had sent mail for cancelation.


This mail is regards to having bad experience with Birla services wherein I would like to go forward with the cancelation of my policy. Following is my policy number and I need full refund of the payment done to your organization amounting 26227.93.


The payment was done on 29th of March 2023 to Birla sun life insurance. Before doing the payment to Birla sun life insurance I had communicated with Mr Mukesh an executive from Mumbai office who was handling my case ill only do payment if I get the policy dated March month. Soon he agreed on the terms andpromised to deliver me policy by 4th of April with dated for March 29th.


Post doing payment on 29th Mr Mukesh said the medical team will visit my apartment on 30th of April for medical but there was no call or message received. At night at 07.12 pm I received a message that my medical is scheduled in the clinic. When I called Mukesh on 31st morning around 10 am and asked him about the message he said they will come home in the evening on 31st March.


To avoid any further delays I visited the clinic on 31st itself at 10.30 am andfinished with my medical. The doctor asked me to give the urine test again on 5th as I was on my menstrual cycle. Then I got a call from clinic andthey told me that the Aditya Birla Sun life insurance has taken consent on letter head with Regards to urine testand urine test is not required to be done.


Then I spoke to Mr Mukesh on 6th of April and he asked me to submit the urine test on 6th and then hepromised me to deliver the policy by 7th of April.


Days goes by Mr Mukesh started avoiding my calls and text messages. Where in he has still didn’t provide me my payment receipt nor my medical reports. Every after 2 days he promised me to deliver the policy with 2 days also to the extent that I will receive my policy on that particular day 100%. Following are the proof attached below.


Mr Mukesh has also confessed that he has delayed submitting the documents. All the documents that was asked by Mr Mukesh was submitted to him on 29th April itself.


For not receiving the policy past 28 days. complaint was done 3 times over the toll free number but they promised me a call back or with resolution but no resolution or call back was received.


Mukesh also mentioned that the delay is happening from underwriter. Mr Mukesh and Mr Rama promised me to deliver the services but it was always a false commitments and both were equally unprofessional. Where in I had also told once I get my policy I would be also doing 3 years health insurance with Aditya Birla sun life insurance.


For false commitments failed to deliver the services I want to cancel my policy immediately and need my full refund of my policy. With this bad service I would never wish to recommend Aditya Birla sun life Insurance.


I need full refund of the payment done or I wish to take help from consumer forum.
