I had an insurance plan in birla sun life which i surrendered in february 2011 when i was in the branch office of hyderabad somajiguda branch as i was about to surrender the policy company appointed insurance broker at the office told me not to surrender and transfer the amount to another policy which he explained for about an hour and told me that he would settlement the claim amount if i did the policy. In 7 working days.i did not accept for that and as i was about to surrender the policy some person over the desk told me that it would take 10 working days .
After a few days i was informed that i would take 15 working days . Now iam told by some person it takes 20 working days. I have recorded some phone calls which i received from the company extending the time limits .dont this company understand the urgency of the people surrendering the policy . As well as this policy holds no fruitful yeilds. On the other hand i had surrendered lic of india policy i got the cheque in 6 working days even now i did not receive any amount from this great company (birla sun life ) on 24 feb i went to branch office i was informed i will get it in 24 hours see what happened next is i am attaching the compliant logo and their mail.

We request you to kindly check the status of the same and revert in case the payment is not credited within the stated timelines.
What should I say to these people and the branch manager who told be that I will be credited within 24 hours orally when asked for a written statement with company seal he me that it cannot be done.
