On Aug’2006 I bought a product from Birla Sun Life Insurance through Citibank agent. They promised me so many things as min 10% appreciation of my fund etc. My premium was Rs. 60, 004. In last 5 years I have paid Rs. 3, 00, 020 against policy premium. Today it is Rs. 248662.87 that too market is at peak.
Trust me on this. Never ever buy their products. Their customer service is very poor. Each time I have told them to convert the premium from yearly to quarterly, they have never on time. The moment they debit the money from my account(I have done ECS which was a major mistake I did), then they change the mode as quarterly. DON’T EVER GO FOR BIRLA SUN LIFE or any products suggested by Citibank.
