I had taken a child scheme for 18 years on birla sun insurance . It took these guys around two and half months for my policy to get active and my documents to reach me . I had my cheque debited from my account on the 23rd of march and I recived my policy documents only on 16 of may and my policy activation date mentioned on the policy as 14th may . I am really suprised how these guys work, they take your money first and then let you know if you are eligible for the policy or not in a couple of months .
These guys even have agents /associates / etc, one of agents are Anand Rithi in coimbatore next to that relliance world on R.S puram road . The manager there who was dealing with my case, he is totally lost and usless .
The V.I.P staff who handled my policy documents were Mr.Rajeshpillai(sales manager) rajeshpillai@birlasunlife.com and Ms. Sudha from coimbatore branch .This lady sudha has no clue of what she is doing . These two staff are big assests for birla sun insurance as they are trained so well to cheat all there customers .
Another imortant thing is, you would find a Griveance form which you can fill in and submit on the website . Even if you fill in and explain you griveance, it will not help . Beacuse all thes guy are a bunch of fuckin ass*holes .
In total the customerservice they provide sucks . They only can provide you with ripoff service, take all your money and say that the company policy does not allow us to give you any service .
