Aquamagica and Imagica -- fun trip

We visited Imagica and Aquamagica within a week in May. We liked both the parks. They can be compared with the Downey Park and other international parks. Some points that can be handled better

1) None of the restaurants offer free drinking water. They should all have water fountains which are really placed far off such that you end up buying water.

2) Red Bonnet in Imagica is much better quality than the one in the Aquamagica. We had a lot of problems with the quality of food in Red Bonnet of Aquamagica. I believe since it is not AC, the food quality does not seem to be maintained. But we as consumers have to bear the bad food quality who end up paying same prices for AC as well as non-AC. The fries were refried and chewy, the drinks had no fizz in it and felt like Rasna. The bread for the burgers were getting broken. We complained to the manager Gaurav Sethi and he was very co-operative. He even came at the end of the park timings searching for us to tell us that action is being taken on the feedback. The attitude shown by the manager was very good. Full marks to him for the same, 0 marks for the food though when compared with Imagica.

There is a lot of scope of improvement in the queue management. There can be mobile people who take the food order or serve food. This will help ease down the queue which took 40 minutes to get the food.

3) Water had very high chlorine content, in US we don’t feel that much chlorine but I don’t know whether the same standards are maintained

4) In aquamagica I would advise wearing skeletoes or slips on that we get from there. Please get your own swim wear as I felt the quality of the same over there was not as good for the cost of it. Since it becomes very hot and there are many places where the carpets are not put in and it is very hot to walk with naked feet.

5) Something needs to be done at the ticket counter. We are paying 3000 per ticket and there are no facilities. It is hot and no proper shades. Not enough sitting places and it looks like we are in a PSU bank which does not care about its customers. There is a lot of scope of improvement there.

6) The parks start late in the morning and are closed in the afternoon for 2 hrs. They also close early. The parks in US go in quite late at night. This ensures that all the rides are covered easily. Here almost 30% of the rides are not possible due to this timeline restrictions or you have to be running at all places.

Overall it was a good one. Kids enjoyed it. Was a fun ride. I would recommend it again and visit again around winter time.
