My Experience:
End of oct’05 I planned to buy a car and after doing a lot of Market research I finally zeroed-in to the one and only Hyundai Santro (That’s a different story all together). However, Since this showroom was close to my house I decided to drop in there.
As soon as I entered the showroom me and my wife was greeted very well by the person at the reception. Then I got introduced to Niran (Sales Consultant).
He was very very Courteous and well behaved. He asked all the details from us and was very helpful in deciding which model I should choose. Since this was the Diwali time they had an offer where the car would come fully loaded. Also, Santro had just introduced the latest model ’’XO’’.
He showed me the fully loaded version which was on display and It was a love at first site. The color was ebony black, with Decals on the body and a Chrome Logo plate (silver color not the usual black one) at the back (just above the number plate), all four power windows, Ariel antenna at the top front, Wooden Finish at the front console. It was looking Gorgeous!!!!. I told him I want this exact model with the same look and feel.
He also explained in details about the car and the special features in the XO Version. He then took us to Vijay (Accessories Guy) to choose the color combination of the Seat cover we would like to go for. We chose the Bottle green and creamy white combi.
Vijay was also very helpful. We were offered a free Mp3 player (Blaupunkt).
I was so impressed that I made the initial booking payment then and there.
Unfortunately that was the period when it was raining in Bangalore and Chennai Inconsistently. Niran told me that since it was raining very bad in Chennai The Transportation of the New Santro cars got delayed (All the cars are transported from Chennai).
However, He promised me to do whatever he can do for me. I knew things are beyond his control.
The point is, after this whenever I had called him, he was very patient with me and tried to explain the situation to best of his knowledge and to answer all my queries about the car, accessories and delivery (U know, one will have endless doubt when purchasing a car and this was the first car for me).
He was the person who made this whole buying experience a very pleasant one. Finally I got my Beautiful car delivered on 11th Nov. I went to take the car and he offered a car cover free from his side. It was a real customer delighter!!!!(Those who are trained in six sigma Quality will understand this).
I would recommend all of you who are looking to buy a Hyundai Car, please go ahead and make the purchase via this guy....If anyone goes through the same experience it will make me happy.
