My Hyundai I 10 sportz car had minor accident and was slightly damaged. I got estimation from pvt work, they quoted max Rs 10000/ . but to claim insurance, I took my car to Advaith Hyundai work shop in Subramanyapura, Bengaluru. they gave estimation cost Rs 15, 000/ maximum they said. since it was insurance claim I gave it for repair. they kept it for 5 days and they have submitted bill to insurance company for rs 31000 / as repair charge. for unknown reasons they have modified bill to Rs 24000/
For all these transactions, negotiations they did not involve me, they did not appraise me why they charged from initial estimation of Rs 15000 to Rs 31000/ and how again they could Reduce to Rs 24000/. they kept me away during repair process and while completing insurance formalities also.
They have completely manipulated repair cost . insurance company paid them RS 17000 and remaining RS 7000 / they charged me. service manager chosen to deliver my car on Saturday late evening through a non technical personnel. Sunday was their holiday. after repair no trail drive conducted, but when I took my car and drove to home I noticed some other new problems. I waited for 2 days more, because after repair their customer care dept should take feed back from customers. but nobody contacted me, hence I called service manger & explained problems, he ignored it. then I contacted their GM, he too ignored my complaints because they were very well aware that they have manipulated repair costs and charged excessively. hence they were not ready to face me and not ready to convince me.
Because they have ignored I have lodged complaint in DISTRICT CONSUMER COURT, BENGALURU. They have proven themselves about their arrogance against both Court and customer. in their reply they have questioned court authority to accept complaints and they have accused customer [me] that I have given complaint for wrongful gain! in their affidavit to court they have used dis-respectable words. they do not have respect to consumer protection acts, also they are having least concern to customers satisfaction. their attitude is do day robbery and make huge money by adopting cheating attitudes by exploiting customers ignorance and their helpless situation. . hence to teach them lesson I am pursuing my case in consumer court util I get justice.
