A great American classic by Mark Twain.

This book is one of my favourite novel. The story is beautifully told through the eyes of Huckleberry Finn. It tell us the story about a boy and his adventures with his friend Jim. The story took into account important issues prevailing at that era. The hypocrisy of civilized society, slavery and racism is the theme behind the story. Even though the author use the N word many times, he use it to send us a powerful message racism and slavery. I love the part where Huck and Jim spend their time at the river on a raft. What I like about Huck is he follow his heart throughout the adventure.

There are some violence and deaths in the story so I won’t recommend it for small children. But I would recommend it for the young readers who are looking for a quality read. This book will quench your literary thirst.
