Adventurous and entertaining classic

This is one of those classics every one of us enjoyed as a child and couldn’t put down even as a grown up. Tom is my childhood hero.with his notorious antics and a golden heart. I enjoyed Tom’s acts as a child but enjoyed the words and text more as an adult. The metaphors and similes used by Twain are out of the world. The word play attracts you more and by the end of the book you love both.Tom and Twain. The sensible comedy sprouted by Tom’s innocent feelings are just perfect. To look at the world from a small boy’s point of view is fresh and sometimes takes us down the memory lane of our own childhood. Huck and Joe as Tom’s confederates are perfect portraying the band of boys and planning their silly games common to their age.Over all Tom Sawyer is a must read for all ages. If you have loved him as a kid, you will love him more as an adult.
