Karan Johar is a happy man. His Ae Dil Hai Mushkil may have courted controversy but has firmly put everything behind to surge past the Rs 100-crore mark at the domestic box office. ADHM, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya RaiBachchan and Anushka Sharma, has become Karan Johar’s first ever film to reach the milestone. The film, which released on October 28, has earned Rs 102.05 crore in India so far.

ADHM holds the record for highest opening weekend collection for both Ranbir and Karan with earning Rs 41.05 crores. The film’s first week collection is the second highest after Sultan. The film has put up a consistent performance over the last 13 days despite competition from actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Hollywood’s superhero saga Doctor Strange.
