When the representative come to sell you the policy he says inless premium you get more coverage and most of the illnesses are covered in it. I was Hospitalized for a surgury and when I checked for cashless ParamountTPA/Aegon Religare said the process might take more then 24-40 hours so I paid from my pocket as I thought I will get reimbursement from Insurance people.
After that its been 3 months nothing has been done and They kept giving me unaround saying there is a deficiency of document. They never clarified what documents are missing. At last they just closed my clain request. I called paramount / aegon religare and they then told me that documents were not attested properly by the doctor.
I mean what do they mean my "properly" not attested. Should I and doctor put some decoration and glitters on the document. Coz last time I checked a stam and a signature from hospital and doctor was called attesting a document "properly". When I said I want to cancel the policy and get my money back they talked rudely and did not give me any information on how I can cancel it. SO PLEASE GUYS DON’T GO FOR INSURANCE POLICY FROM AEGON RELIGARE. YOU WILL ONLY LOOSE MONEY AND UR TEMPER.
