I am a UI designer and got an interview call from Aequor, Gurgaon, India. I went there and everything went well at first day and then I was asked to come next time. I went there again and everything went well and I was selected for the post and even they gave me the salary structure. I asked HR to give me 2-3 days to think before sign the docs. She said okay and that was Friday if I remember. I said I will let you know on Monday. She agreed to that. When I called on Monday to inform her that I am okay with the offer and all. You know what reply I get from her side?
Harish, this position is on hold. I will get back to you once this position is open again. I was stunned at that time. Thank God I didn’t resigned from my current company.
And this is not the end. I again got an interview call after 2-3 months and I asked that you should check your records about me. I was selected at that time and everything was finalized so can I hear from you on this. She(a new HR) said Harish, that’s okay but I do not have any records about you. If you are interested then you will have to give interview again. I said okay and went again. Will you believe that AGAIN I FACED THE SAME PROBLEM. I WAS STUNNED again.
I never can think that a company like Aequor can do anything like this. I WILL NEVER EVER VISIT this company and won’t recommend to any of my friends and well wishers to go there for interview.
I don’t know why these type of companies waste our times and theirs as well.
But, yes one thing I really like the Head of HR and the one of the Sr. man in Management(Sardar ji). I really liked to speak to them.
