I recently transported my household goods from Mumbai to Kolkata. My Consignment no was GC4716368, Agarwal Packers took huge money(almost 20-25% higher than competition) but I went ahead since it is a listed company. I got bit carried away with their slogan in the name of “Bade Bhaiya Hain Na”. It soon turned out to be nightmare. They took 100% advance. Sales guy informed that with 7-8 days max, goods will reach Kolkata. After 14 days, when no one contacted me, I started calling them up and the sales guys kept on rejecting the calls. After 3 weeks, finally I got a call that goods reached Kolkata. Despite repeated calling, again no one picked up and to my utter surprise, they took 7 days more to deliver the goods to my Kolkata residence and 30% of the goods were broken & damaged. They took thousands of rupees in the name of insurance but did not settle a single rupee claim. THEY FO NOT RESPOND TO MAILS OR CALLS ONCE THEY TAKE THE MONEY AND DESPITE TAKING MONEY AGARWAL PACKERS AND MOVERS DO NOT PROVIDE SERVICE. NEVER EVER DEPEND ON AGARWAL PACKERS & MOVERS(DRS Group). Actually their slogan should be “BADE BHAIYA HAIN NA AAPKO LOOTNE KELIYE”
