I relocated with my family from Bangalore to Noida on 31 March 2010 and used "Agarwal Packers & Movers (M-TH-R F--K-RS) (DRS ROADLINES????)" for transporting my house hold and Office items. All the items were isured against damages by TATA AIG.
On April 9, 2010 my household and office items reached Noida. Almost all my office tables, chairs, almirahs, chairs reached us in damaged condition. They just dumped their items and disappeared without even setting them up. With two months of follow ups by emails, phone calls, they sent their carpenter and set the damaged items to some extent. The TATA AIG (ANOTHER BIG B--T--DS - taking the blood of common Indians in the name of insurance) came for survey and did nothing.
I have wasted 30 to 40 working days (so far) for following up with them and at the end of it feel bad and loose my cool. After that they sent a email in June 2010 that they will send me a compensation of Rs. 6500/- which never came.
As I did not had time to go to "Consumer Forum" and run around Lawyers and courts, I am unable to do anything to these "Filthy pigs".
So be careful while choosing the "packers and movers" and for God’s sake dont’ waste your money in insuring with any of the insuring companies - cos their only aim to loot money from poor anaware Indians.
