I regret that I paid this company to carry my stuffs from Kolkata to Bengaluru. The total amount was Rs. 22550.00 plus 3000.00(for insurance). The special contract form says, "At carrier risk for all risk".
They damaged the following items:
- 37" Panasonic plasma 720p HDTV(dent in the back(see the pic below), TV is working fortunately, you know the price of it!).

Sectional couch worth~ Rs. 50000 /- was brand new when picked up from Kolkata, when I received, torn at many places. See the photo attached.
Bulova branded(worth US$ 100) wall clock completed damaged with glass badly broken. See the pic attached.
When I reported this(in writing) right after receiving my stuffs, somebody came for inspection a few days after. Someone was sent to repair the sofa but he said the material was not repairable. After that, Bangalore office(name of the staff was Bhanumati, she was so rude!) called me and wanted to pay a compensation of Rs. 1500 /- only(?) for the damage of all the things I mentioned above! This was simply not acceptable to me and I wanted them to reinvestigate. They did not agree. I have a very busy schedule at my job with huge amount of traveling. After calling different offices, I got a manager’s mobile number at Kolkata and her email address. She once picked up the phone asking me to write an email about it. I wrote to her(her name is Neha), and she never responded. I tried to call her later but she never picked up again.
I wish I could take these guys to the court. Unfortunately, the law is not strong enough in our country to protect customers like me. If I ever sue, I would probably end up wasting my money, time and energy.
BEWARE OF AGARWAL PACKERS AND MOVERS! If you pay them to relocate your items, NEVER expect to get paid if they damage your items. They damaged my very expensive items and wanted to pay me peanuts despite the fact that I had full insurance.
