This is one of the most horrible packers and movers I have ever seen. I have used to them do the shipment from Bangalore to Sydney. The following series of events took place.
*Evaluation of Weight** - Mr. Manoj Manjhu the sales executive came to do an evaluation of items and said approx volume metric weight of total items would range between 350 to 400 kgs. We have negotiated the per weight at Rs 380. After the completion of packing they calculated the final weight as 546 Kgs and charged accordingly. Mr Manoj derived that weight using the calculation LXBXH / 1748(Which is completely wrong). We realized this mistake after we received an email from their 3rd party vendor AVM logistics based out of Hyd. They are one who would actually book the shipment with TNT or other international logistics company. As per AVM groups email we found that the total shipment weight is 296 Kgs and they are charging Rs 310 / Kg. AVM Group used the calculation LXBXH \ 5000, which is also the calculation used by TNT or other international logistic carriers. So to sum up, the weight of the boxes Agarwal used to pack was actually 21 kgs, but using their fraudulent practices they charged 42 Kgs per box. We paid Rs. 2, 40, 000 for our shipment, which ideally should be around Rs. 1, 20, 000.
*Packing** - Though they did pack well in front of us and I myself have marked the packets, but when we received our shipment in Sydney, we found that they have mixed all our items in different boxes, which amounted to loss of items and all the glass items and show pieces were broken into pieces. We also realized that the packing which was done in front has been changed after it was taken to their warehouse. Anyone who would like to see the pictures can send me an email and I will be happy to send all the pictures.
*Delivery** - Firstly, it was promised that they would take 7-10 business days to deliver the shipment, as we have booked it through Air. They collected the shipment on 2nd Feb and we recieved it on 11th March, through TNT. While booking the order Mr. Manoj also promised that it will be a door to door service and the boxes will lifted to the appropiate floor. This was entirely false, we had to lift all the 12 boxes ourselves to the 3rd floor. One of the boxes still cannot be traced. The documentation towards customs was also not provided by Agarwal as promised. We had to visit the local customs office and provide all the necessary documentation which we had already given to Agarwal packers when we booked our shipment.
*Customer Service** - If there is anything beyond pathetic, then that explains the customer service of Agarwal Superfast Pack Relocation. After collecting the shipment, what we all got is a TNT tracking number on 20th Feb after repeatedly calling Mr. Manoj and their other office colleagues such as Mr. Anil and Mr. Rajesh Garewal. There is no such customer care number, no email address where one can contact and get information. They make false promises before booking the shipment and after that they simply switch off their mobile or they don’t repond to your calls at need. Agarwal Superfast claims "Tension Free shifting", but in reality they give you tension after pay a lot of money.
*Summary:** If you want to throw, break or donate your items, please do, but don’t use their service to send your items domestic or international. They are biggest crooks of this industry.
